All other product names and company logos are the trademarks of their respective owners.
E-Practices
American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. does not permit spamming, the sending of unsolicited advertising to those with whom we do not have an existing business relationship or posting off-topic advertising in newsgroups. Likewise, American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. does not permit using a return email address that is not the sender's (our) valid reply address; nor do we send an e-mail address that does not contain information to enable the recipient to identify the sender. This is not ethical nor will we knowingly perform this action. American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. additionally does not permit passive spamming -- promoting a website hosted by American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. by spamming from another source; trolling – posting controversial messages in newsgroups to generate responses; mail bombing – inundating a user with email without any serious intent to correspond or sending large or multiple files to a user. If you believe that you are the victim of this type of conduct on our site, email or contact us immediately.
Legal Rights of American Draperies & Blinds, Inc.
American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. reserves the right to seek the imposition of criminal and civil penalties for any unacceptable online activities, including punitive damages, under any applicable law, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030); the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (18 U.S.C § 2511); the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. §1125(a), 15 U.S.C. § 114); the Uniform Trade Secrets Act; the Unsolicited Electronic E-mail Act; and the California Unfair Business Consumer Protection Acts.
Omissions, Errors, Inaccuracies
American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. disclaims liability for misprints, typographical errors, or technical inaccuracies. While American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. tries very hard to ensure the accuracy of all information and representations on our site, we do not guarantee typographical perfection.
American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. also disclaims liability for misprints, incomplete, stale, or otherwise inaccurate pricing distributed or otherwise provided by any other websites, individuals, companies, or parties including, but, not limited to: shopping, search, or comparison engines, or similar entities or websites other than our own. Should or in the case of any other entity providing inaccurate pricing for any other reason, American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. prices listed on our own site will prevail. Finally, American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. reserves the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice.
Returns and Exchanges
If you make a measurement error, American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. may be able to repair (not refund), when possible, your product to the size you need. In such instances, the customer would pay for the shipping both to and from our factory and the cost to repair your drapes or blinds to the proper size. Standard or stock size drapes or blinds may be returnable for a re-stocking fee if you have made a sizing error or decide you do not need the item(s).
If American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. has made a size/product error, we will stand behind our products and services by correcting the order.
However, "custom sizes" made individually to the specific window(s) at your sites are often unique and therefore not usable elsewhere. Window treatments, (blinds or drapes), dimensions that are "site specific" are generally not returnable except under the provisions as set forth in our Lifetime Warranty and according to the limitations outlined under "Limitations of Warranty", "Drape Fabric Variations", and "Variations in Color, Tones, and Hues."
Orders cannot be either cancelled or changed once production has begun.
Payment
There are two basic types of accounts with our company:
1) Customers with an account--who have established credit with our company because they completed our credit application; or
2) Cash customers--these are customers who prefer to pay on an order by order basis. American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept checks. Personal checks will, however, delay us from starting your order until your check has cleared the bank (i.e. usually within 10 days.) If you would like to rush an order paid by check, we suggest that you either use a cashier's check or money order. This form of payment is just like paying with cash by eliminating any holding delays by the bank.
Finally, American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. also provides easy to complete credit applications. One is for the general public and commercial entities while we also offer an abbreviated or shorter version for government and educational facilities.
Legal Rights
American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. reserves the right, subject to law, to change the goods and services offered for sale, promotional offers, product specifications, prices, and any other site materials from time to time. We may do this anytime without notice or liability to you or any other person.
American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. cannot guarantee that the goods advertised or offered for sale on our website will be available when they are ordered. We also reserve the right of order cancellation, termination, or not to process orders (including orders that have been accepted) where either the information on our site is inaccurate, price is incorrect, or if there is abuse of our policies. If we do cancel an order for any reason, you will be notified by us and either not charged for the order or a credit will be applied to theapplicable form of payment used on the order. We do not warrant that the photographs or descriptions of products are error free, current, or always accurate.
Password
If you are issued a password to access any portion of our website, then you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password. You also agree to accept responsibility for all activities that may occur with your password and on your account.
American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. as we deem necessary and reasonable to maintain the security of your account and our website, without limitation, can change your password, ask for additional information to authorize transactions on your account, and /or terminate your account.
Shipping
Unless otherwise specified, all shipping from American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. is through UPS (United Parcel Service). They generally provide very fast and efficient service. Delivery times usually range from two to five days from the date your order actually leaves our factory. "In Stock" products and fabrics typically take a few weeks to manufacture. Production delays can and do occur due to the influx of orders processed. When this occurs we process orders as quickly as possible in the order they were placed. A rush or guarantee fee may be paid to ensure a rush. Contact Customer service for pricing. "Special Order" and "Back Order" products and fabrics can take longer to manufacture.
Your shipping location is an important factor in how long it will take for your order to arrive. It is difficult to guarantee delivery or an exact day. However, if you do need your drapes delivered even faster, you can request and pay for alternate rush delivery options. Please see UPS's website for a detailed description of each shipping of various shipping option terms and conditions.
Your drapes from American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. arrive poly bagged to keep them fresh and clean; on a drape hanger in case you need to store them temporarily; and will be pinned with steel hooks and ready to hang.
For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, please add 20% of your product cost to cover the additional freight expenses. Express shipments are not available to Alaska or Hawaii. We do not offer shipping outside the United States, or to APO/FPO addresses, Guam or Puerto Rico.
The shipping charges for items that cannot be shipped via UPS due to size restrictions will be quoted on an order by order basis.

After ordering you will receive a payment confirmation. Once your order is completed we will call you to pick it up.

Sales Tax
Any order being shipped within the State of California where American Draperies & Blinds, Inc. is located will be required to pay 8.75% sales tax.
Orders shipped outside of California, do not have to pay California State sales tax.
